hi... I just got grimtim size 33x32...
I sized down on grim tim. My true waist size is 34.

the fit on my leg and everything is great... but when I walk... the crotch is tight. Even it is hard for me to go upstairs using this tim. Should I size up?

If you like how they fit, I say leave them, because they will stretch.

Just prepare for a crotch failure at an earlier than normal time.

    What size should I get?

    Hi guys,

I was wondering what size should I get if I am going to get a pair of the Grims? My true size is 34/32 but then I size down my AJDH to 33/32 and ESDO to 32/32. Another questions would be, is the cut from knee to ankle skinny or straight? As for the tighs, are they tight or pretty much loose? Okay then, too many questions already.

    Thanks!

I sized up one from my stevens and joes, I wear them both in a 29, and got 30's in the tims. Mind you I could have went with the 29 on those also, but it depends on how slim you want them.

The thighs are quite tight as well.

In the future, please stop making new threads for every question that you have.

How does grim tim compare to slim jims? I'm thinking about getting the dry black selvage.

They are similar up top, but the lower leg is between a slim jim and thin finn.

I kinda prefer the GTOD denim a lot more than the finn denim, so I'd say just tailor them.

unless you are a fan of the lower yoke, because the finns will look alot different.

The tims sit higher on the ass.

    GTDO on athletic people?

I am 5.8 and I am quite athletic especially my lower body part (I commute with my bike a lot). Would a GTDO look good on me? As I haven't found a store around my town where they sell the Grims so I can't try them yet. I am enjoying my AJDH and ESDO. My next jeans hunting would be Grim Tim. Thanks!

some ppl find the ESDO too baggy. So if the ESOD is already tight on your lower trunk and legs then im guessing the GT is gonna be much tighter.

Get it same size or 1 size up from your AJHD size. That's what I would get myself, if i wanted the GT.

I like the Tims better than Finns, they suit my bodytype much better.
The low yoke makes my ass look kinda weird and my legs very short, from the front they looked okay.

The denim used on the Tims is also nicer imo, heavier and i'm not a big fan of stretch denim tbh.

Would GTDDO look good on a person with big tighs and calves (as in athletic legs)?

The other day I tried a pair of GTDDO. I liked the fit, but, I am not sure if they would stretch on the calves part as I found them a bit tight on my calves. I ride my bike everywhere so that would make sense, no? If the calves part DO stretch, then I would buy the pair. Also, how heavy is the denim and what's the exact color of the GTDDO actually, is it just a regular dry raw dark indigo or black-ish + blue-ish? Just to make sure though. Thanks guys!

They won't stretch in the calfs, if they do, it'll be a very small amount. GT is a dark blue colour, no greencasts or anything, just dark blue.

It's not for people like you and me, haha. Jims are not as bad, but just make sure you only size down one.
