I mean technically the dress code for my school is a dress shirt w/tie, dress shoes, dress pants, and a belt, but they've given us a lot more freedom lately (cords, 5 pocket pants, boatshoes, all legal).

At any rate, I live in the US, so you won't have to worry about that. :-D

    Morning all,

As you can see from my number of posts I am new today so please be gentle. I have a couple of questions about TLJs and seeing as I don't know anyone who owns a pair I thought some of you may be able to help me out.

Ok... I bought a pair of TLJs Black Black about 9/10 months ago after searching for a pair of tight black skinny jeans for what seemed like a age. I love love love them and so recently decided to buy a couple of other pairs. Now I'm sure it's not just my imagination but compared to my original pair the new pairs both seem to be slightly looser around the bottom of my right shin bone / right ankle. In fact, I tried a couple of pairs on before I bought these and they seemed to be even worse. I particually notice it when I put my boots on and find that the opening fits perfectly on my left boot but is looser on my right. Has anyone had any experience of this? Is it likely that there has been a batch of TLJs where the measurements have been out? It's only slightly different but I think noticable. If I was wearing baggy jeans I doubt you'd be able to spot the difference but as they are skinny it seems to be noticeable to me.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

hey into the black, yes i agree with you. I have an old pair of tljs that fit superb but recently bought new ones and they feel less quality and baggy in the ankle in the area. I sent nudie an email regarding this, and you should too so they can fix this problem. Tljs is a really good fit but lately the new way its been maufactured has been bad.

Thanks for getting back to me man. It's quite a relief really because I thought I was going nuts and just imagining it. I'll definately send them an email as well then because it's a real shame - the fit of my original pair couldn't be more perfect. Did they get back to you at all?

The nudie website offers a new (and better, but less cool) fitguide. For those interested.

Plus, the Easy Emil and Fast Freddy don't show up anymore - discontinued?. Doesn't surprise me, but that shows how short nudies new models tend to live - and what philosophy nudie follwos (at least there are now five skinny cuts).

Yeah those 2 models weren't mentioned in the newest nudie booklet. And may I quote "we'll always stay true to jeans", why the khaki line then? Is it because nowadays everyone are wearing them? Fashion does get into the way sometimes. (BTW khaki line will be on webshop tomorrow)

^^ Yeah, I don't think those cuts were very popular. It's good that Nudie is sticking with what it does best imo, they've always been known for their skinny cuts (though FIVE is a bit ridiculous).

The Hank Rey and Sharp Bengt are available in Orange Selvage by now. Looks and is described like the normal Red Selvage fabric, just with another selvage colour.

I think this is the worst pre-wash from nudie so far - beats some fashion sh*t. Don't their designers look at worn-in pairs anymore to get inspired? I am really kind of disappointed/sorry for the direction, nudie chose to go. But they seem to be successful, I see many (pre-washed) nudies nowadays. It seems like the market demands "worn-in" jeans like these above.

Those do look awful. Guess Nudie IS looking for the "short-term trends" now, despite what they tell us.
