I didn't know there was a reg dry joe. Only the heavy?

Anyways, the colour of hte heavy is your basic nudie blue. Nothing special.

So... kind of streaky. Or have I never had anything that is true nudie blue. I have svens and greycast, and from what i understand the svens are usually a lot streakier.

Is basic nudie blue the flatter/ more uniform blue color?

I'm pretty sure there are AJ Dry Selvages, which is a regular indigo not heavy.

Depends on the svens you have.

If you have the streaky ones, then the joes look nothing like those. Nor do they look like the greycast.

They look like normal blue jeans.

Not all selvage nudies are Japanese denim. The flame sven is Italian.

    32 in what?

I use to wear 31 or 32 in pre-washed jeans before I got into dry denim.

Then I got a pair of ESOD in 30x32, a SJDBC in 32x32 for a non-slim fit and a AJ Dry Heavy in 30x32.

i dont even know. all my pant sizes are 34+. i've lost weight since then, and now i need a new pair of jeans...

my 34 RRDS are really loose, if i pull them up against my weist, theres about an inch of space between the pant and my waist...so thats 2 inches of fabric right? naturally, that would mean im a 32 in RRDS?

but if the joes are going to stretch, ill get 31. also regarding the fit, its a pretty loose one right?

also, if i was to just measure my weist with a string and ruler, and it comes up as 32 inches...what size of the AJ do you reccomend i get? considering that i wont be washing them..

I can't really help you with that now cos I can't find my tape measure. But I think I'm prob a 32 waist, I bought 30 in AJ for a slimmer fit.

Your post is supporting my faith in ordering the 28/32 AJDBS from cultizm. I'm going to go on a water and mandarin diet till Thursday and see if I can fit midly comfortable in them.

If I try them on (28/32) and they button up but I feel really uncomfortable, should I still get them? I want them a little slim fitting and I've tried on the 30/32 AJDH and they are a very relaxing fit (kinda how I'd want the jeans to feel after they've stretched-waist wise).

    Opinions please

Actually, its not a mistake. There is such a model, AJ Dry Selvage, same denim as the RRDS and SSDS ;)

Well 30x32 is a slightly tight fit for me. But I'm sure they'll stretch out, denim is a good motivator to lose weight :p
