I hung a paper on my wall above my computer and wrote down:
Nudie SJ and drew stripes on the wall like an inmate, everyday I wore them (now 80days so far)
and the same for Nudie GT (now 25days so far)

I take pictures before soak and wear. And save those pictures in my computer (it will record the data you take the picture), then just wear the jeans everyday.

I have a document on my computer called "Denim Journal." Each day, I mark what jeans I wear as a whole day or half day. A whole day is 12 or more hours. A half-day is six. If I could wear my jeans all day every day I wouldn't need to do this, but since I can only wear my jeans after I get home for working at my schools, it's very helpful in keeping an accurate record. Things like washes, soaks, etc. are also marked here, too.

I put a note in the calendar when I got my Grim Tim DDO. 10th of September 2011. Been wearing them ever since as it's the only pair of jeans I have.

Maybe it's a bit too late here but the method I use is, I wrote down the date right on top of the left pocket label on 1st day wearing it.. so I wont forget by then, of cos I use a permanent marker.. Lol !

Did the same thing with a big point Sharpie on the pocket without the Nudie philosophy thing. Says,"6/11/14" with "First Wear" written below that. OP: I think counting the days is kind of pointless. That's a bit too analytical IMO but it's cool you love your jeans as much as me.

Like others, I also keep notes in my phone with the type of jean followed by the number of days. Sometimes with a comma as a wash indicator. One note for each pair, and I'm not entirely consistent with the format.

So it might look a bit like this: "newSTF 183,240.5,300,365.5,376" which shows of jeans which have been worn for 376 days and washed 4 times.
