Levi's don't give a fck. Levi's isn't concerned with what 40 people on an internet forum are doing. They are more worried about meeting daily sales goals in each of their many retail stores. Our best chance at getting some sort of acknowledgment is to somehow get in touch with Lynn Downey their in house historian and get her interested in this contest. But I doubt Levi's would even consider even replying back to any of our attempts to reach them.

Like my young Korean friend said, Levi's don't give a f*ck about anything but the money... When I worked for Levi's I tried to get them to do all kinds of promo stuff and they shrug off everything unless it comes from the top down and then it's golden. Or they will do it and then put about $2 into the idea so when it doesn't really pan out they can say "see, told ya no one would be interested..."

But screw it they hire all old Gap management anyways, so maybe someday we can all expect bright lights, headsets, and big smiles when we stop into a Levi's retailer.

Indeed. I contacted them about sponsorship about a month ago and got a canned reply of "We recieve many requests for sponsorship, blah blah blah..."

I wonder what Dejan is up to -- he mentioned something a few pages back, about talking with LVC. Perhaps something along these lines?

I'll join in with the fit pics soon. It's just too dark too early. I still owe the Evisu thread some as well.

I sent him a PM just a short while ago, so hopefully something will come of that. I always hate asking such things since I don't want to seem ungrateful for what he's put up already.

I talked to my boss about sponsorship (read older post for more details) and he talked to whoever is in charge of it but they said they had too much on the burner. Such is life.:(

Finally picked up my pair, I'm hoping it doesn't turn out too short. Normally wear 32 inseams and picked up 34s for the contest. I have 3 month old pair with a 36 inseam and they've only shrunk less than 2 inches after 2 really hot hour long soaks.

    hey guys!

was wondering if people could still join.

BTW do you soak these jeans right after you get them, or after the 6 month period? And if you happen to soak them, will they still fade?

I got mine today and I cant wait to soak them and get going on the 1st. I sized down to a 31-34. My real waist is like 32/33ish so these are tight. I'm gonna have to wear them when they are wet. I'm trying to get a slim fit without much stacking. Last stf's I had were 33-38 and they were baggy and too long. In my experience the inseam only shrunk like 2.5 inches. Also take into account the super high rise and if you sag them at all it just adds to the overall length of the jeans. The smaller sizes also have smaller back pockets. Going the opposite route with these.

I'd like to get in on this. Yes I joined just for the contest, but I've wanted to try a pair for a while now.
