The folke jacket is nice nice, especially in brown
Anyone knows if they are still sold anywhere?

The new ones on nudie site arent as good i think. Dont like the darkbrown shiny leather color of the Conny in leather. The cognac colored Bruce might be nice though irl

I realize this is a total dead thread revival, but it existed, and seemed better to use this one rather than create a new one.

Today I was out looking at leather jackets, and had the opportunity to have a look at and try on the new Nudie Johnny leather jacket, and I really think it exemplifies the difference between Nudie denim, and the rest of their products.

The jacket was priced at $799 Canadian (sorry, no web reference ATM), and it was so utterly inferior to a similarly priced jacket from a company specializing in leather goods. The leather was thin, and flimsy, it didn't have any of that nice spring and patina of a good quality leather that one should be getting for the price, in addition to that the construction really wasn't impressing me, it felt weak and the hardware could definitely have used improvement.

The jacket I was able to directly compare it to was from an Italian company called Brogden. I have owned one of their jackets in the past, and they are top notch quality in my experience, made in Italy, thick leather, great cut. It even fell far short of some leather jackets by Diesel that were kicking around the store.

Anyway, back to the point of this, it seems, to me at least, that although Nudie's denim products seem to be retaining their quality in construction and fabric, even if there are better, more niche options at the same price point, the rest of Nudie's goods seem to be falling in quality, even more so when compared with the seemed increase in price.

Hi, Has anyone seen or have the Nudie Jerry Lab leather jacket picture below?

In the some pictures it looks like a dark brown color, but I have read a description that says "black" and the Nudie website photos look like the jacket's black too.

Also how's the fit and quality like?

Thanks in advance for any help.

^ that jkt isnt the nudie lab jkt though is it.... the nudie jerry lab is made of gorgeous leather, with selvage lining, is pricy but if i had the money id buy one.
the one above is very nice, but it is probably a cow leather, and i think they are brown, with a black coating that wears away a bit like antique chesterfield sofas.
still very nice but probably more like 300/ 350 euro for one of those,

Nah, it isn't. I found this thread that dated 1 year back. I just find it similar over the discrepancy of black and brown. Judging from the thread, it's still on sale though.

I like the 2nd one more, I guess I don't like the denim lining. Anyway, I advise to be careful with leather goods from Nudie...

    ^ yep:lol: ive experienced nudie leather products..
some of their older stuff was nice, but im just a sucker for a lovely leather jacket made from something other than cow hide.....a nice bit of sleek lambskin nappa, or a nice bit of durable gorgeous when it wears goatskin

edit. i also see a hell of a lot of fake nudie leather jackets here in the uk on ebay.....they get sold aswell,...poor people:oops:

Yes it's short, but I don't recommend sizing up on this one. Buy the same size as the Conny jacket, if you have one.
