i wear these the same size as my slim jims... sized down to a 29

grim tims feel tighter on the thighs and calves, but looser on the waist since its a higher rise
slim jim is looser on thighs and calves, but tighter on waist since low rise

yeah, i worry mine will stretch out- i just got the gtddo in sz30 thinking the fit might be similar to my sj29, but it's awfully loose around the waist, and the thighs and arse are pretty damn big. maybe it's the looseness that makes me worry, because if they stretch any more they won't be much good to me- should've sized down... or maybe i've just handed myself a licence to gain weight ;)

^ ha! i just realised they're not too big in the waist, just in the legs- i got mine in a 34 inseam and now the thighs are falling over my knees whereas a 32 inseam would be tapered! damn it, i hadn't factored for that- i thought a longer inseam would've just had a bit of extra material at the opening, not lower tapering throughout.
i'm about to get some crazy honeycombs out of this pair because now i have to stack them all through the thigh as well as the calf
moral of this story- don't size up on the inseams

    stupid short legs! ;)

not really, unless you hike your pants up super high so the knee would be where your calf normally is and do some lunges.. even then..

I sized down 1 and they fit perfect. I've only had them about a week or so, wear them part of every day but haven't noticed any stretch as yet. They are the GTDDO.

I've had mine for 2.5 years and it has gone from hard to really soft after 6 months.
I'd say they stretch a fair bit on my 32/32.

What size should I go for if i have TF Black Coated (tight) 28x34 and TF Crispy Crinkle 29x34(not 'tight' has some space but looks still skinny). I want Nudie Grim Tim Dry Dirty Organic but i dont know if i should go 28 or 29. I want them to be tight not leggings tight.

I normally go for 30/32 (on other brands) but went 31/32 on the Tims… stretched a bit round the waist but only enough for them to be really comfy – they've lost none of their shape and have stayed nice and tight around the leg. They wear like a carrot style as opposed to a drainpipe. Love 'em.

i just got a pair of GTDRS in my usual (albeit somewhat tight) Slim Jim size 30x34. i didn't size up because i heard that they stretch out a lot, esp in dry. i've been wearing for two weeks now, and they are starting to loosen up. the waist was originally skin tight, and is now relatively comfortable. the calves though, are taking much longer, probably cause there is less movement in that part of the leg. (i have muscular calves.) i am hoping they turn out like my now-perfect dior 19cms... from what i remember, they were pretty uncomfortable for a while too.

To size up or down shld depend on e grim Tim model u r getting. For eg, if u have big thighs, it is prob difficult to fit into a size 29nfor the dry 46 dips although u are a size 29 at the waist. but if u try the open selvedge, it's a gd fit. Not tight not roomy. I think denim such as black coated will b very tight too.
Go to a shop n try them before u buy! Hope tis is helpful.

perhaps, its too late, but im 5'6, 120lbs and wearing my actual size which is 30 and im quite disappointed coz the legs and waist r too loose now (2-3 weeks) and i suggest u to size down 1, i just regret my decision, should've picked up size 29 :icon_frown:

    Hey guys,

I have a 3+ year old pair of Even Steven Dry Organics in size 33x34 that fit me beautifully. I'm looking to get another pair of raw Nudies, but since the ES is discontinued, I figured the GT would be similar. I'm looking at the Dry Dirt Organic, but should I go for 33x34 or 34x34? I'm 6'2" and about 190 lbs--not exactly twiggy. It looks like the general verdict with the GTs is to size up one from what you wear in other nudie fits. Is that true?

    Thanks,
    Alex

I'm 6'0" and 160-165 lbs and I went with a 31x34. My normal size is 32x32. They stretched about an inch after 2-4 weeks but haven't really stretched at all since then and I am 4 months in now. I wear them about 3-4 days a week. I'm going try and do what another guy posted in here about wearing them up higher on the waist and spreading your legs to stretch them a bit more.

It depends on how you like to wear your jeans but since I like to sag mine a little bit, I probably should've gone TTS or one size up. So if you like them tighter, size down one. If you like them fitted, stay TTS. If you like them a little loose size up one is what I would say.

I have Dry Dirt Organics by the way.
