Hi guys, a bit of progress on my pair which I started wearing on the 30th April.
I have worn these all day every day since then bar a week or two. I don't think it would've been possible for me to wear them much harder in that time.

Beautiful model Grim Tim. Bought a pair of these a while ago but havent started wearing them regularly yet. Are they hard to fade guys considering them being not so stiff?

My true size is 36", my Levi's 511 are well worn 33 and they fit great. Should i go for 33 on GT Open Dry Selvedge aswell? Or a bit tighter, like 32?

And your 33 Levi's measure 36 on the waist?

The Levi 511 i wear at the moment has 17,5inch front wide, (44,5cm) so it is about 35 to 36 inch around.

ok, so I'd go for 34 in Nudies. Of course you can try to stretch out 33, but I wouldn't recommend that. 32 might be much too tight.

I had a Slim Jim 33 for a quick test here, it was TIGHT but i could close the button. So 34 is maybe more comfortable but the fit will be worse?

I also had a Slim Jim 32 for a test here, it was uncomfortable but i could close the button aswell. *mhm*

The Slim Jim 32" had a really got fitting above the knie, but below it was to wide. Thats why i think Grim Tim would be great.

Indeed it would be a good cut then. I don't like tight jeans, but if the hips and thighs on a GT 33 are doable, you can go for it. They will stretch around 1". But I'd take 34 nevertheless for myself.

    Grim Tim ODS

First pics, after 1 week of wearing. To the contrary of most people, I sized down from 31" to 30" on this one.

Congrats guys you both have great fits in your two different Grim Tim models! I was just wondering, is there a thread for the Grim Tim Organic Dry Selvage? Sorry to take this thread off-topic again but I can't find it! I've just ordered a pair - I'm not sure if they'll be too tight though! I wear a 30x32 in Thin Finn Pre Wash and Dry Black Ring. They are both quite tight but loosen up a lot after wearing! My true waist is probably 31.5 (hah was 31 but I think it's gone up). I ordered the Grim Tim in the same size 30x32 - I'm just worried because of 100% cotton they might just be too tight! Oh well, let's see! I do like a slimmer fit though. Will post pics (in which ever thread is correct!) when they arrive!

Well, I can't find a thread for your GT's either. So you can start a new one yourself, or put it in this thread: Pic of Grim Tim

I have a question about alterations. My Grim Tim Open Dry Selvages are way too long (34 length), and I eventually want to get them shortened. However, I haven't washed them yet and have heard of people getting their jeans tailored only to have them shrink and be too short after washing. And naturally I don't want to wash them for a while... Do you guys wait until after you wash them to do any alterations? Or just estimate and do an extra cuff or something until you wash them?

I'd always leave an extra inch to allow for any shrinkage when you eventually wash.
