Great fit on those GT Carl! I really like the indigo stitching on the back pocket. I have the GT Orange selvage and wear (unfortunately) also a suit to work.. :( After work I quickly put on my beloved jeans and try to give them a hard time as possible. The fading is getting a lot better after 3 months :) Good luck with yours!

Diaz - I like your fit man. Stick with it! I didn't size down - just got my regular 32" waist.

Grim Jarno - cheers! Your pair is great - any updates?

I'll try to get better pics in a couple months time - mobile phone pics never come out well when taken inside.

My jeans are pretty stinking. Would a cold soak mess up the fading potential? I'm only just over 4months in.

WHy should it mess up the potential? Why donĀ“t you consider a sea soak in german or antlantic ocean?

It won't affect the fading but won't help much for the smell neither...

I'm worried about shrinkage as well.

What is the best way to minimise shrinkage to the legs?

Well, as nudies are sanforised you might end up with max. 1" after a warm machine wash. Still, you can stretch them out after washing by stepping on the hem and pulling the legs. A gentle way to solve all problems is what I just did to my 710 - handwash while wearing them. Minimises shrinkage, keep creases in and helps against the smell.

Nice one - I'll probably give that a try as I really can't afford much shrinkage on this pair.

I'll probably use fabreeze and air these for a couple of months before I give them a soak in the bath.

I've had these for about three weeks and am loving the strength of the creases; still, very little fading if any.

Has anyone got a pair (even a different cut, but same denim) that has started to break in nicely? Would love to see some pics

Edit: here are some very shitty pics from day one in my messy room http://imgur.com/a/WNFjQ

Can anyone give any updates? Had mine for 54 days now and they are just starting to fade a little.

If I got the same size in Open Dry Selvedge as my Dry Dirt Organics, would they fit nearly the same? Should I go down another size? For reference, I am true 31 waist, currently have size 29x34 DDO's and love the fit.

They will stretch quite a bit.
Mine were a perfect fit when I bought them but now they are at least a size, maybe two, too large.

I don't know about the fit on the DDO, but I would size down one or two from Thinn Finns (my last pair).

I already sized down two sizes (31 to 29) and I wear a 30 in Thin Finns. So getting 29 in Open Dry Selvage, I am sizing down 1 from Thin Finn, should I get the same fit as my DDO's in a sense?

I've got the same size for both my DDO and ODS. I certainly couldn't have sized down.

The ODS are very slightly looser in the thigh but have a slightly lower rise (not much in it really but worth noting).

Once washed they will shrink and tighten up, hence why you shouldn't size down.

I'd follow Carl's advice; I am terrible with these kinds of things.

In other news I'm nearing three months and they are really coming along nicely; not much fading but some very intense creases which I am loving.

I believe my true size is 31(hard to know at this point) and for most TFs I get a 29. For GT I wear a 30 as a size 29 would be awful with a 100% cotton pair. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to fit into a 29.

I could be wrong, but it seems GT are about half a size smaller than TF. They seem to fit on par with my TFODEE which are also size 30.

    Hi guys,

I've just bought a pair of these jeans (GTODS). I was wondering what to expect when they arrive, sizing-wise. My normal trouser size is 34/30. I've got a pair of Sharp Bengt's in 34/30 which are about two inches too big around the waist. I have a pair of Thin Finn's 34/32 which are a bit tight round the waist, but do up.

How will these Nudie's compare? I like my jeans to "hug" my leg shape without being tight. I also bodybuild, so I have thick thighs and my waist tends to fluctuate 33-35 depending on what cycle I'm on.

    What size would you recommend?

    Oh, and, cool site :)

Anyway, I've just received my new jeans. For me they fit perfectly at my actual "normal" jean size of 34". A tad snug at the waist and upper thighs. Bear in mind that I don't like wearing tight jeans, I usually wear loose>>>tapered kind of cuts. I'm guessing they'll stretch a bit so I'm not too concerned about this. I would have liked the leg opening to be slightly slightly slightly narrower.

I don't think I'm going to be able to hold off from buying another pair of Nudie's soon. Are the other selvage Grim Tim's heavier denim?

Got a pair for a bargain of 112.99 on eBay. I got them in size 29, they fit perfect except around the knee where they are a little bit loose. I think I will get the knees taken in slightly by a tailor. Other than that they are unreal jeans.
