Great game between Ghana and USA. Ghana played really well and deserve the win. Too bad the USA could not play good from start. I enjoyed the game, it was long, clean and no major referee blunders. :)

Great match. But I feel a little sorry for England, they were very unlucky. But just a little:mrgreen: Özil is great. And now...Argentina?

I was supporting England, but Germany really deserved to win that match.

I don't blame the linesman for that disallowed goal, human error is alway going to happen, but I do think FIFA need to seriously reconsider their approach to video playback. It won't undo the final result and it isn't an excuse for poor playing, but it should have been 4-2.

What a ruckus here in Berlin after this victory! I think our team won deservedly in the end, but it's a great shame that this incredibly flawed denial of England's second goal sours the joy somewhat. It really is Wembley '66 reversed: The English get (back then) and don't get (now) their "was it fully behind the line or not" goal, and depending on that very decision win or lose. The difference is that while it apparently never can get clarified whether it truly was a goal in '66, it so very clearly was one yesterday.

I get a little doubtful about my prediction that the winner of the next game here will be Argentina, bit I'll stick with my guns.

Before the start of the Tournament I was hoping for a controversial free World Cup - I was wrong! FIFA please fix the broken refereeing system, because I am starting to dislike this beautiful game because of how it is being administered at the moment especially at World Cup level. It goes without saying, it is a big negative on the game in addition to the blatant diving issue that you also need to address. I guess no one from FIFA will be reading this post but I can only hope enough protesting from English supporters might get somewhere. Until changes are implemented I will stick with playing FIFA 10 World Cup on my PS3, controversy free.

Too bad the Paraguay-Japan match had to be decided by penalty kicks. Must be miserable for the loosing team.

I kinda figured this formula for the world cup.

    1) So, Brazil won the WC in 1994, before that they also won the 1970 cup. Adding 1970 + 1994 = 3964.

    2) Argentina won the WC in 1986, before that they also won the 1978 cup. Adding 1986 + 1978 = 3964.

    3) Germany won the WC in 1990, before that they also won the 1974 cup. Adding 1990 + 1974 = 3964.

    4) Brazil again won the WC in 2002, before that they also won the 1962 cup. Adding 2002 + 1962 = 3964.

    5) So to know who's gonna win the 2010 WC, just subtract 3964 - 2010 = 1954! And guess who won the cup in 1954? GERMANY!

    :-D fingers crossed to Germany!
