I don't really like that wash, or most pre-washed nudies either

tried both of them.... dry heavy organic and the hard worn organic.... they seem to be huuuge and long! THIS one is oversized.. NOT the Easy Emil, believe me... Very strange cut in my opinion... Don't get me wrong... I like baggy/loose pants very much, but this is... strange.. The rise is so extremely long!

God.. bring back the baggy björn finally...

I just realized how odd it is that someone is complaining that the rise is long the this model, and asking for the Bjorn to come back... Perhaps it's because I haven't seen this model in person, but if I recall correctly the Bjorn had a very long rise as well.

no, the bjorn had no long rise compared to the freddy... maybe it just seems different, cause the bjorn had a loose fit, the freddy not. freddy is high AND has a long rise..

I tried a pair of the org dry emil yesterday considering they are a more loose fit they seemed tighter on the waist than my dry bengt??

I think the cut looks pretty good. Maybe the best relaxed fit from Nudie. But I agree with you guys, if I get them, they will definitely not be in that wash, most certainly dry.

I think they might be my next purchase once I've broken in my AJ's!

    I just bought a pair for $110.

    i love bucklebacks

I sized down 2 so that it's not too baggy just enough to stretch out the waist in time

I bought the organic dark blue

I really fancy a pair of cinch back jeans. It's a toss up between these and a pair of Edwins. Hopefully we'll get some progress pictures soon! ;-)

i tend to think this is a kinda horseshit thread, since noone who's into repro/retro cuts would look to nudie to get that fix- regardless, i'm kinda curious. i might grab a pair of these on clearance, and see how they run...

Yeah. But the price difference and quality difference from Nudie to some high profile Japanese Repro groups is hard to really nail down..

I have some Sugarcanes in a Lee repro cut, they are by far the toughest jeans I've owned...but also the most expensive...Oh well...

I might as well cross post this,
from Nudie Jeans Fall/Winter 2010 (Yeah it's not even summer rofl)

Fast Freddy Hemp Dry Selvage. I am really interested in the fading properties.

I might get this or some of their other cuts.. (I want an Easy Emil in dry hemp selvage)

I think it's kind of cool. Rather slubby in appearance.
