It was a hard decision for me to choose between Beckman(GTs) or engineer, but I'm glad I eventually went for engineer - I'd already got 2 pairs of 6" boots anyway so I wanted something different this time.
(Having said that, if my engineers were suede, I would be more ecstatic though )

    Grayish stains

After I oiled my wallet the leather became grayish on the parts that had indigostains:cry:. You cant se it on pictures so I dont post any. Is there any way to get those parts darker again. They almost look dry..

I swapped from the original "yellow/brown" laces to these leather laces on my RW 875 for a change.
    I like RW's
Y/B laces, but changing leather laces give me (and the 875) different impression and more sophisticated look.

I've got those leather laces delievered with my 8130's besides the regular black ones. Looks good (even if I like the regular ones too in the 875's).

    Rw8180

I dressed my RW-8180 in the dark brown leather laces - I will start to break in these from my birthday in this October. :-D Stay tuned!
(But until then, I am breaking in RW-2972 as much as possible)

I'd highly recommend you do it. Changing laces will definitely give you new impression of your boots.

(You should be able to get RW's leather laces by special order at RW retailers, but I think they don't have to be RW's laces - any good leather laces would suit your boots!)
