    unfortunately it's not that easy..
If you order too many and ppl don't buy - ur stuck...it's always safer to go with preorder amount and round it up to the smallest amount possible for a limited run.
with the yen being so super strong right now Gordon would have been ****ed if he had ordered 150 and wouldn't have been able to sell them.

In the end - pre order option was open for about a month - so there was enough time to snatch a pair...
btw - looking forward to this, should be some epic results

yeah most likely you're right and have more insight in Gordon's business.
But he sells the 811 anyway so I'm rather sure he would have sold all pairs later on

and you're totally right, there was more than enough time to pre-order a pair. looking forward to your fit!

Beatle's reasoning was dead right. 'had a a short [denim] chat w/him when i dropped by the other day and the topic veered on exactly that. he said there's really not much money on "special" contest prod'n runs cuz he gets stuck with inventory__ he cleaned out on the FC 1108C, but still stuck with a few 0105Cs [even aftera year and a half later]. that's part of the [supposedly] profit that he still has not taken to the bank.

on the 811s tho', Tilmannn's got a point. it's a popular model, so BiG keeps inventory on them anyways. on 660s, the demand was so much after the contest that they even reordered.

right, the 811 is a popular model like the 660 and the 0105 is a far less popular cut. Although I considered them lately for my first Fullcount jeans. Dunno if they're too loose for my liking.

So in the end, Gordon knows what's best for him

^if i can SD1 on the 0105Cs for a regular fit, you can prolly SD2, but they only have limited sizes left. no more W32, so i'm shiet out of luck. however, the factory still got a deadstock roll of the [15.5oz green selvedge] contest denim__ Gordon has ordered it for a final cut. i forgot the model#, but i did try his worn in sample pair cuz we got same size and they were fcukin nice.

it's going to be same top block as the SDA 105, which imo, the best top block fit & feel evaaar__ at least, on my body type__ with has the "slim knee" feature also, but cut straight from knee to hem__ not bootcut as the 105s. btw, i've already reserved for a W32__ yea, due to the cut and denim behaviour, you need to size down on them... oh, and the donut botton will be replaced by a flat one.

sorry for shtting up the thread

Dunno if it differs much from a soaked raw one. Are they literally "rinsed" or washed with detergent?

I think those are only washed with clear water in a machine. and dryed afterwards in a dryer...

I think it was Momotaro who stated that their Jeans are washed in water from the local bay and the sun dried. So maybe it's similar here.
