I did do a search, I couldn't find a topic on engineer boots so my apologies if there actually is one. (in that case, mods please take care of the business.. thanks and sorry on my part!)

i'm looking to pick up a solid pair of engineer boots. i really like the old red wing model but i'm not so sure on the current one. anybody have any opinions? eddy do you have a pair? :)

I have a pair of RW Engineers boots, not sure if it's the old or new model. Bought them last year. They fit me a little small, but they're doing the job just fine in winter. Best part, I accidentally got them for free!

    Those are really nice, M!ch...

I really want a pair of RW 2268, but it sucks how they aren't available in the US.

I'm getting a RW2976, it's a short engineer boots. Instead of the original 11" this one is 8". I like the length!

Though I'm not too sure, I believe this model is only available in Japan. It's weird how redwings are made in USA but some models arent available in the states..

I find it hard to believe that nobody has suggested these bad boys - just gorgeous! Ok, I appreciate they're a mix between engineer & biker, but I gotta have these!

Yeah - but one can still order them online. I ordered my 9268's from Japan. They pop up on eBay too.
