hi all, i live in a city with lots of rain, a.k.a vancouver, canada. i wear my dry nudie a lot, like everyday. and fall has come already and is pouring continuously. i am worried that would effect the process of making my dry denim in dry condition. will they fade away as they get wet in the rain?

    thanks!

Unless its like a monsoon with very heavy rainfall, and your standing in the rain for more than 5 hours I don't think it'll do much. It may screw up your creases if you let them get drenched and start moving in them though.

Just think of being caught in the rain, like a soak. Doesn't do much.

My SJDJ have gone through a lot of rain too.
I believe rain doesn't really affect anything, they still fade like they used too and look the same :)

my dry selvedge got a lot of rain on them one night and they smelled awful but the indigo was fine... The smell was probably just the gross LA atmosphere

Yeah its not just LA, I've noticed my ESODs stunk like hell after I got caught in the rain once. Didn't really do much for the fading though.

It's not just jeans either, all clothes smell after being in the rain. Rain water isn't exactly clean...

What is so hard about understanding that dry jeans can just be worn as any other pair of jeans?

    Monsoon

I just got caught in a local monsoon, turns out it shrank the legs but my waist was protected by the jacket, so I got some nice spot stiffness. Honeycombs became even stiffer...
