    sorry to dig up this thread, but does anyone remember what´s the difference between the regular XX type and the one used in this contest? is it just the 15oz denim and leather tag?
    thanks for any info, i just want to know, now that i have a pair :-D

    If I recall, I think it was the weight of the denim more than anything.

    The denim, the cut is slightly fuller and the tag is printed in black instead of the usual red.
    Also think on the regular XX-type the beltloop is placed offset, while on this one it is placed straight.
    So you're the one who bought Opeth's pair ;-)

    btw, is anyone still wearing their contest pair?

    well, i now wear opeth´s, but still i´ll concentrate on my own 66xx contest pair.
