i'm using LEGO in the coin pocket or using zippo.
I got me a Brass Knuckle at my Left back pocket, it still doesn't show too much fate until now but it successfully create a hole in my pocket. Usually how long will it takes to have a fade form of the things you guys put in your pocket??
Depends on how douchy they are! No just kidding. I never managed to get fades from things that really dont stand out from the denim like coins etc. If you've got like a Zippo in your coin pocket that'll take about a month to see the texture and IDK maybe 3 months for a distinct fade.
Umm okay, Thanks for your information Freid. Cheers mate
Cheers, do think twice about the brass nuckle ^^ good luck
Yes, please rethink the brass knuckles ;-) You won't probably get exact fades, as long as the items move. I remember a guy here, who "glued" or patched a guitar pick in his coin pocket, so it stayed at the same place. That's lame, if you ask me, but you might consider it, if you want the fades so bad :-D
...and this "guy" was Dr.House
I was considering putting the bullet on my keychain in the back pockets on my TF.
I was going to put a sea urchin in my pocket originally, because, well, you know..
This is hilarious
I always have a random circular lighter on my coin pocket, and a circular portable ashtray on my left back pocket!
at the moment Im wearing a Nivea can in my left back pocket
has someone experiences with this? does it look cool? or do u think it will crack?
from what I've seen, all metallic things cause cracks pretty easy. I think that this might happen here, too. As always, my "rule" is - if you need this stuff,, carry it with you. If you just do it for thr fades, don't do it.
Exactly denim forms to the wearer, Not the wearer tot the denim
Thanks Max, that's what I'm doing since 37 years. I would never ever just carry some funny stuff inside my pockets just for some expected fading reasons.
Both sides make sense undeniably... I used to think you should just keep whatever you keep in your pockets and let the fade do it's own thing, but after washing three Nudies the fades were just too similar for me. Not saying I hate that; it feels like they're my trademark which I'm sure you all can relate to.
But then I thought what the **** and threw an old bearing from a skateboard into my previously empty back pocket. I have the dopest little o back there now, can't wait for the wash or for it to tear, it'll be so sick. The little things... the little things.
That being said, judging and belittling others for not doing what you do is pretty lame. If you love your denim, you're doing it right; let them do them.
I am not a big friend of such modifications. But to each his own.
^^I like fadings at any place at most if they express the unique personality.
The Jeansmuseum is most interested in several items worn form the same person with very similar fading patterns on all those pants or denim jackets
^^ahah i see some weird stuff like flip knife brass knuckle ahaha do you really need them?
front left: Iphone.
front right: Ciggerate case.
