I have a new avatar. It is a picture of a small sculpture I made last year. The frame is plywood, spray painted black and the yellow objects are mimic halves of a banana & corn made from plaster in a mold. I named it Dialog Box which is also the name of a song by David Byrne.

In other news I watched a documentary today which was about consumerism called Consumed. It was an interesting and awakaning watch.

    no more infomation

Beautiful- Freak has lead me to this thread.
As they're aren't any suitable contests I've created my own.

(Sold off too big and rubbish jeans on eBay)

31.08.2011 79- year old aunt buys custom Japanese jeans (my only pair ATM)

28.12.2011 Very ex boyfriend orders me second pair of custom Japs (not ready until mid- February)

Now try to resist buying new jeans until Jan 2013.

Using Kayodic as my role model, aiming for done great fades and 2 amazing jeans by end 2012.

Is it OK to wear my original pair every day now until the new pair arrive in 6-8 weeks or should I try to wash them and dry overnight occasionally.

I'd like really strong contrasts (They're Indigo Warp/Black Weft but not rope dyed, and hard to fade)

I'll be counting the days until
    My next pair of jeans!
Just wish they made heavyweight denim in mini (22"!) sizes

Please help as I used to live in bleached ripped Diesels in Paris so need assistance with evo, both pairs of which I'll post.

    IG:)

well as you are at home most of the time I don't think you would annoy many people if your jeans would start to smell ;-)
besides that I would wash whenever you think the jeans need to be washed. when you feel uncomfortable in them or so. and just let them hang dry. no need to hurry the drying process. or do you really think the day ist wasted when you don't wear a pair of jeans? just wear another pants then

When Fukushima was still in the news (shame it isn't anymore although it's still serious there) and I picked up a pair of Samurais from the custom office, the checked the package and jeans with a Geiger counter. All was fine :)

Okay. but I think that your jeans were made before that fcuk happened. I have just seen that ironheart headquarter is only 400 km away from fukushima... Don't get me wrong that I am seriously afraid, BUT there is a minimal chance that some stuff is contaminated (right word?)...Beside the best for all japanese people who suffer because of the catastrophe...

Thanks man! You're right, I saw him twice this year and he was absolutely stunning.
^^ regarding the radiation: I thought about it much when it happened. I am no expert in nuclear physics but I am not worried. I was two years old when Tchernobyl happened and our parents had to be careful with the food and drinks they provide. That was a worse situation (speaking for us europeans! I am aware of the problems in Japan).

The cut looks carrot and not slim like if you ask me. Maybe some folks will get into dry denim because of this jean.

I agree. And I see many hipster now wearing selvage jeans with monster cuffs, jeans whose brand I have never heard before. I hope that this is a shorttime trend. Not in an elitist way, but it is often bad for a scene when trends and fashion invade it and half-assed people stir things up for a year and then move on to the next trend.
And tbh, I don't know the brand concept of burberry but the clientel who wears it - having studied together with lawyers and business folks. Fading raw denim is pretty much the farthest away from what they desire. So I don't understand burberry - it's like nudie would do chinos. Oh, wait...

    The patch is horrible.

Rest looks ok, but will probably be overpriced.

I apologise if someone've already mentioned about this before, but I've just come across this Chinese site and it made me laugh.
They even reuse and modify the logo graphic of mynudies.com. Hahaha.....

Right. Let's make sure this forum has more relevant talk than commercial stuff and what the heck about life and spirituality: loads of other forums for that.
I'm wearing a pair of jeans today. They aren't that good that I want to repair them and the crotch is going so soon I'll have to give them to a girl who wants to make aprons from them. I give them another fortnight before they are junk.
Who else is wearing jeans today?

I would, but actually having spent the afternoon crawling around someone's toilet, I'm glad to wear my plumber's trousers instead (plus they have kneepads in). I'm wearing jeans now I'm home :)
