Today i visited the JeansPaleis store in Kerkrade, The Netherlands.
They are the people who own the webshop www.drytillyoudie.nl
When i was looking through their jeanscollection i saw the first Dry pair of the new cut, Bootcut Barry. The label said: Bootcut Barry Dry Old Organic. They looked great.

One of the store's owners helped us out, great people with lots of knowledge, great store to shop at.

I didn't buy anything this time, but a friend of mine bought a pair of Pace P-000 Limted 50' Raw. That's a great pair of jeans.

So well, here is my review of the Bootcut Barry Old Organic Dry:

At first, it feels like an old school indigo. Very rough, just like the japanese brands (of course not so thick) or vintage Levis pants. The denim feels very thin and the indigo looks a little bit shiny. You can see the white lines going horizontaly very well. I guess that's why it looks so rough.
Futher the leather patch of Nudie is a little bit changed. Now it has a little carved in Nudie Jeans co. logo at the bottom under the orange N. Also it has an attached piece of denim with the writting "Organic Denim made by 100% ecological cotton ... read more at nudiejeans.com" in it. I guess the denim can be used for small repairs, hehe.
I Like the indigo very much, it has a different feeling compared to other Nudie dry ones. It has the vintage worker feeling and I hope that it shapes after my body fast as I don't like this potatobag kind of feeling when the pants are new, hehe. Very unshaped. The cut is very similar to RRs, though it has not this small narrow knee like thing which I like in bootcut jeans.
If you like thinner denim, want an organic one and like the rough look of the indigo (a little bit like left hand ones) I can recommdn it to you.
But I guess I am really more interested in the veggie looking like revival dry of the Barry and Glenn. Just love the oceanic color.

I just got a pair of Old Organic Dry too, from Cultizm, sized down 1 to a 31/32 (delivered to the UK in 3 days!). I love the colour and the fit is amazing, very like Jim with a slight bootcut. I did try on a 32/32 in Cold Denim, and the fit was amazing too, but I wanted to compensate for stretching. I would say the denim is thicker than my SJDJ's, almost as heavy as dry greycast. In any case, it is definitely thicker than Bootcut Ola.
I will try and post pics over the next few days..

No way as thick as the greycast one.

    New Nudies

    Hey!

Just wanted to say, I just finished my third day in my first pair of Nudies... Bootcut Barry in Dry Old Organic.

    I'll keep ya'll updated!

Any reason why this forum is so slow? Is this an unpopular cut because I think it looks great.

i am thinking about getting these. how easy are they to fade? is old organic and aged organic the same thing? i tried on a pair of cold wash boot cut barry and had to go all the way up to a 34 waist! i get my average joes in a 31. how is the fit of the dry barry.

but yeah i really like the cut of these
