It's pre-washed, isn't it? I don't remember any dry evens with backpocket stitching like that, also check out its leather patch, no way it looks like that in only 4 months

    Here's what he said:

"its the ordinary Dry Denim (the blue kind), got them at the shop were I work here in stockholm. We've got these ones and the Organic Dry and they are the only dry ones I've seen (no shop in sthlm bought the Masa)"

He lives in Sweden so he must have access to some rare models

Those blue-blacks are quite common. Context sells them, revolve sells them, and I think that zoovillage does as well.

Sweden probably did get these months ago, but these aren't exactly rare.

Yeah, we have had these at CONTEXT for months. The back pocket stitching has developed nicely. The stitch work on a brand new pair is not pronounced.

    Here they are brand new

gotta respect the fade on these, however, after staring at those pics on context (and zoovillage) long enough, i started to really love that deep, dark look. anyway, too bad that these are so destroyed - the pockets are bad enough, but check that crotch! dude should've gotten something heavier, IMHO. 8)

seen these on Sufu myself a week ago I think, these do look amazing, a shame about the crotch that got blown out and the almost ripping backpockets, but def. some amazing honey combs

I am actually worried about the crotch on my ESDOs the most. The low yoke combined with the 10"+ rise sure makes that crotch hang rather low. I'm constantly pulling my jeans up way high if I have to step over stuff, so I don't put unwanting strain on the crotch area.

I dont understand this. I thought it was opposite. If the crotch is located in a high position very close to your balls, there should be a large strain, when you step over things. However when the crotch is low (a bit loose) the strain should be smaller. Am I totally wrong on this?

Yeah, that would seem to make sense. As best as I can remember, most of the ripped crotch pics I've seen here have been on Slim Jims, i.e. tight shtuff that would stress the crotch. Like, I know my Bjorns will never have this problem :p Steez, I don't think your ES will rip, unless you wear them while doing a lot of Tae Kwon Do or seatless bike riding...

but if you wear your jeans low (as i do) they got also alot of friction with walking, cycling etc. like i have to pull up my jeans every time i step up at my bike otherwise i can't,, but it goes a bit slower but you def. can blow your crotch..
