    hi maids,

in august 2005 i bought a pair of dry baggy boern (33/34). i worn it every day for about 14-16hours! now i want to wash them, cos they smell and i also just cant wait any longer to see how it looks like after a bath ;)

hoply it will shrink a little in lenght (1 or better 2 inches) and not in waist (by wearing it gets even longer, longer and looooooooonger, i guess about more then 3inches) . i like a really loose fit in waist, but not so much high turn-ups (now i wearing it with 3! curfs).

pls have a look at my jeans still it is unwashed, what do you think about it? would like, it would look like the last pic (<- taken from the nudie website).

what do you think about - can i wash or should i wear it more for a better result?

they already look nice, but I wouldn't wash them yet, even if they smell.
hang them out or try febreze.

I think you're gonna have to wait a good while longer I think to get them anything like the Nudie pic. I find the baggier jeans (LF, BB) take longer to show the effects as they're not moulded to your body as much. My LFs are nearly 2 years old and they're only just starting to look good, and that's just after two washes.

Like Tobe says, don't wash just yet - hang them out in the open air for a day or two, or try freshening them up. I only ever aired my jeans, never used any fabric fresheners - air will do the job just as well.

    Keep going my friend! :D

Hang on to the not washing policy for a little bit longer... if they really smell bad, just use some starch with "clean smelling stuff" - air them for a day - and ur lines will get more permanent !!

Ah, I don't think that's too bad - or at least it doesn't look too obvious on the photo. It all adds to the individuality of your jeans!

YEAH!!! Finally pics of the BB!!! Massive big up man!

I'm still saving up my money for this one. I want to to the sea-wash, then 6 months, than wash them.

Your kneelhole look very good. But the fading on the Nudiepicture is way more extreme. I think that one's worn for 2 years or something. An option for better contrast is to wash them in 90C. I saw a pic of a RRDS in the Selvage gallery and that ones amazing! Seeing that you don't mind your jeans to shrink, 90C is a very good option for nice fading!

    Good luck!

I was in out local retailer yesterday and they had some new stock in, including BBs. They had the Dry Selvage and the Oil Spots. I LOVED the Oil Spots, but they were 145!!! That's like 210 or $250. That's plain crazy. How much to they cost in other parts of Europe - does anyone know?

I can't find anything at their site about the shipping costs.

I'm looking for the BBDS, and 142 euros is less than what I've seen in stores. Here they are 160 euro. Does anyone know how much Zoovillage asks for shipping the jeans.

I live in the Netherlands, but I think every europian country is the same in shipping-costs...

    :?: :?: :?:

If you sign up and become a member of Zoo Village, the cost for the BBDS is only 130 (but they only have 32/34 in stock right now). Shipping is between 7 and 27 Euro, so if you go through the checkout process you can find out the delivery options and shipping costs before you place your order. For the UK, it's 20 to ship and that's by UPS.

yeh, i did it ... and im really happy with the result

    pls have a look:

ok, it doesnt look like the nudiepic (yet!), BUT (and this matters me much more then a "fast eyecatcher") it looks very naturally. not that "WOW" like designerjeans-shit. just a worn (nearly new) jeans, that just have to look like this ... some little holes, light fading and a nice blue color. OMG - i love this blue.
i dont do anything to my nudies, that will force an older look (no sandpaper, no stresswashes, no stupid holes on purpose) - just worn.

im sure it will become more and more the look of the "wannted"-one ... time will tell. hope you enjoy - i do :)

@Cyriel: buy it - ull love it, thats for sure :)

oooohhh damn!!! now it want it tooo!!!

Looks very nice. My RRDS came out almost the same as your BB and now, after five washes, is very close to the one you posted as 'wanted'. Look in the Selvage-gallery. Page 5 after one wash, page 3 after 4 washes. Yours will be great after a few washes and a couple of months of intense wear.

Good luck! And thanks for the tip!

hello, thanks for your attention :)

i washed it a real soft way. just 30deg without any washing powder and the shortest program the washer knows, without folding. after this procedure i turned back inside out, still it was dump i stretched it in waist much as possible and hanged it up for drying naturally.

the nudie faded just a little, the blue turned in a very, very nice color. it shrunk a little in waist/all over and now it fits a little less baggy (more then a dry loose frank). in lenght it shrunk 2-3inch! <- YESSSS! just 1 curf left, perfect! :D

by wearing it becomes more softer and more comfortably. the fading contrast becomes nicer and nicer every day. :)

ill gonna wear it much as i can till the fall*, then ill start with my next break in - la durance royal ... w00t!

    * wearing a dry jeans in summer is terrible. the heat, the smell ... huah!

    I'd like to announce:

    I HAVE THE BAGGY BJORN!!!

I'mnever gonna wash these. Just take them to the drycleaner once in a while.

This garment is fantastic. Left-twill is so soft. Feels almost like they've put some sort of 'coating' over the jeans. Smoothness all over 8)

So: my new project for Spring, Summer, teh dry cleaner, Autumn Winter, the dry cleaner, Spring, Summer etc etc... WOHOO!
