Hello all... I'm new to dry selvage denim, and have been trying on many different styles, and thus far the best has been the Baggy Bjorn, but they're still much tighter than any jeans that I'm used to wearing. Are there any other brands that make a selvage denim jean that is baggier than the Baggy Bjorn?

rocawear does some dry things, so do evisu. rappers generally favor them as their choice denim despite being raw, since their baggy.

It looks like these would be the best fit for me. Do you know how the Royals tend to fit? Since those are the only in selvage denim, that's likely what I'd go for.

indeed you should find some pictures in the ALD thread and in the other brands pictures section...

evisu is also a good bet, but I think rappers usually size up on their evisu's, so you could do the same with a BB, get a size bigger or two if you like...

Yes, I've read through that thread, and I think they look like they would work. Is there any listing of locations that carry them in the US? When it comes to clothes, I prefer to try things on before purchasing...

Ok, I sent them an e-mail to get locations yesterday morning. As long as I'm waiting around, I might as well ask a question...

How are the Royal Selvage and Novelty jeans cut at the knees and leg opening? My favorite jeans tend to be cut evenly at both, and generally 10-11".

Well, I just got my response from ATD... The answer? No, no one in the US carries them... I may just have to order some in the next few months though. I did find a pair of selvage denim at Armani Exchange, no-where near as heavy as some of the other's that I've tried, but very similar, style-wise. On sale for $50, so I suppose it's a good way to break in this dry-denim newbee.

I'm t hinking that I will be trying the Royals. One queston on them, and jeans in general, I suppose: Can they be hemmed? If I have them hemmed, will I not be able to have a normal looking flip up?

My reason for asking this is that I've found a sale on some where the 35" length is about half the price of the 33" length, but I figured that even with a 33" I'd have to flip it up to make it a normal length on me...

The inseam length shouldn't matter if you cuff them. Just roll them once more

Well, I went ahead and ordered a pair. I'm so excited. :D Now, I just have to wait for about 3 weeks (according to Kitchener) until they arrive... tick tock, tick tock...
