furthermore, if you compare my LFDS that is 14oz. according to Nudie to my dj-501xx wich is also 14oz. there is so much difference, the LF seems to be alot lighter...

Yeah in comparison Nudie always seems too light. Although we have a kind of biased opinion about it. We would also assume that the j-denim we are comparing it to is the correct weight also, but it could be heavier than tagged. To also add to the confusion the weight changes a lot in unsanforised denims during their "life cycle"

yeah, we are never sure if the denim is indeed the tagged weight, could be heavier, could be lighter... very confusing things...

but in the end, it doesn't really matter ;-)

magic thats one sweet fit. Anyway is it long enough for you to cuff and show your selvage? that will be sweet.

    :-D

I totally wanna get the same size as yours.

By the way do you own any slim jim? did u size 1 up from slim jim?

I remember the normal AJ is much tighter than SJ.

Never tried the selvage ones b4 though.

I felt they were half a size tighter than RRDS but then again I feel that jims are a full size tighter than RRDS.

    Good fit btw Magic

    Thanks for all your feedback.

Wow the benchmark is hard. For me i owned the SJ aged organic maybe thats the difference.

This shows that i will need to go and try the jeans before purchase. :-|

most of the sizing for people really depends on the legs you have.

i myself have muscly thighs so below is what the fits are like for me

dry japan and ajdh . i have them in 29s. no need to size up or down if you want the slim fitting look.

the ajds in 30. appearance wise was different. as it was much baggier.

i got the rrds in 28 as alot of people said to size down. it doesn't look like a regular fit, for me it's a tight fit. maybe cause havent worn them enough. ( 5 days)

    Thanks mate:)

yeah, i can post some pic of cuffing later on when i got time and i think its fine for my length to do a small cuff:mrgreen:

about the slim jim i do not own a pair or even try it so i cant give any conments:roll: but personally think i dont feel that its tighter than SJ. maybe u will feel tighter on AJDS cos of the stiff denim compare to those normal AJ..someone correct me if i am wrong:-o

I have a 30 waist in ssds which fit perfect after a couple of months. I also have average joe dry heavy which are a 30 waist and are just way too tight for me.
Magic did you size down on average joe dry selvedge ?
