I was just looking on the nudie website when this jeans came by, i was just looking in the average joe place and i saw the AJ DRS.

Does anyone know the difference between this one and te original dry selvage?

It's also availble in a Big bengt.

He is also cheaper then the normal dry selvage

It comes in a wooden box and a book. Also it has silver trims and a selvage coinpocket. It's made out of 13 oz denim and the normal AJ DS is made out of 14.5 oz denim. Also it has a LAB patch. So it's basically a cheaper LAB and instead of a bag you get it in a wooden box. No offence but most of this information can be found on the Nudie website itself. Just read both descriptions and compare.

Alright then, that's very nice to know!

But do you also have aany experience with this jean already?

And indeed iheard there where nudie's comming in a wooden box it's damn nice.

Is there also any retailer on internet you know that are already selling them? i know that they are availble on the nudie site but i don't have a credit card.

Nope, i don't have any experience with this pair. They are also announced for just 2 days so i guess nobody has experience with them so far. And couldn't find them anywhere online beside Nudie itself, but i would keep an close eye on Cultizm.com because i think they are the first who will sell them besides Nudie. Or send them an e-mail and they can tell you more about it i guess ;-)

I think it is the same denim as the LABS (made in italy). Id say that the original beats it by miles.
An original is an original and it will always be :)

Edit: judging form the AJ Labs comp held here a while ago, they tore up in quite a lot of places.
My AJDS is now almost two years and no rip what so ever.

Alright then, do you have any pics. of you're two years old AJDS? or maybe a link where you already have posted them?

I'm working on a AJ Dry dirt organic the fading goes a little slower but you can already see where the whiskers and creases are comming.

But i wan't to buy my self a pair of AJDS so i'm interested:-D

I think the difference with the red selvage (which Nudie states is from Japan) is that it is redcaste denim, which will fade to a slightly different color than the now standard japan selvage.

The original Nudie jeans were redcaste, and personally, I enjoy the color more having seen the old ones in person. For comparison, go to the gallery, and look up the Ralfs and Jims posted from way back (Like, pre 2005-6), and compare the color to some newly posted faded ones, and you'll notice there is a difference.

yes the old ones look different. but we never know the lighting situation and camera used on the pics.

but seeing the LAB contests, those tend to fade all very similar to a dirty grey

hmm it's intresting, the story's about the difference about nudie jeans.
Also about which denim has been used.

I think that the way they turn out are different but i think it's also about how you like them to becom:)

Anyone else who has experience with his AJDS?
