In a bit of a dilemma guys.

Originally just had a pair of Slim Jim Dry Blues but decided to splash out and get a pair of SJ Greycasts as well about 3 months ago.

As soon as I bought the Greycasts I realised my SJ Blue's needed way more work breaking in.

Been wearing my SJ Blue's solidly almost every day for a good 8 months and they're starting to stink but I'm getting some awesome effects and fading. But since I bought my Greycast's I've only worn the Greycasts like twice cause I can't deal with starting on a new pair before my blue's are finished.

    1. You reckon I should hold off and keep breaking in my Dry blues until their smell's unbearable?

    2. What should I do with my Greycasts? They've been neglected for too long.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    JD.

Depends... what size are you greycasts? If they're 28 waists I think you should sell them to me while you break in your drys.

I'm with joshwhite! First the blues and if you fed up with them (read well; "fed up" not 'finished', cuz jeans don't finish) you can continue on the GC.

    good luck

    Thanks for the thoughts.

Gonna try to get some pics posted within the next week of the dry blues. I'll let you guys know when they're up.

In hindsight it was a stupid idea buying the GC's when I did but I'm looking at them as an investment for the future - as long as my waist size stays the same!

My Dry Blue's have stretched SO much, almost too much - at first they cut off the circulation around my waist and now they almost fall off me cause they've been worn so long without washing.

Which do you guys reckon are better?
    The GCs or Dry Blues?

Just not sure about the GCs - obviously they're a different denim, but doubt they'll ever be as comfy as what my blues are - they're almost as good as tracksuit pants these days. GCs just seem too stiff - any advice from GC wearers of a good 8 months or so?

    Keep it real.

The greycasts wont get as comfy as the regular drys...but they definitely soft up way more than one would expect. They are definitely worth keeping if you like the slim jim cut. They will break in quicker, and make a super awesome "get really messed up" jean. I use mine for mowing lawns, and digging ditches and the like...and am sure not to go easy on them...I wipe my hands off all over them no matter whats on them, and they definitely show it. I try to wear all my nudies hard, but when I know I am going to be doing something dirty, I will always opt for my greycast jims because they respond the best to that sort of thing I think.
