Hi guys, so i just bought a pair of 45 rpm new sorahiko one wash, thanks to hide @ sharpservice. Since there is no thread about it, i guess it is good idea to make one. First up the details of the denim itself. It features a 14 oz zimbabwe selvage denim, hidden rivets, selvage coin pocket, chainstitched. the denim is very nice and smooth, but not stiff, actually it is not stiff at all, even my nudies are stiffer. The cut itself i would say it is roomy from the top all the way to knee, then slight taper from knee to hem. compare to nudie, i would say it is like roomier version of average joe. The bad thing, the rear pockets are really smalllllllllllll, my long wallet only fit like 1/4. overall, i think it is good to have one because the denim and patch are unique :D. This is my project for summer, hopefully they fade fast :p

No sir, they don't fade fast at all, which is great, because you really want to wear them as long as possible anyway.
    Good purchase.

    wow, expensive luxury!!!

i'm going to nyc in two weeks and i'm gonna stop by the rpm store to see why in the world are these jeans 3-4 times more expensive than the average pair of j-denim.

Not great pictures but I wanted to add some of my 45rpm pics to the mix. I purchased these from the 45rpm store on Mercer St., in NYC, in 2005. They are tough as hell to fade. If I had to guess, I think they have been lightly worn a total of 3.5-4.5 months during this time. One wash.

On those pics it looks like the ink-overdyed version :S
Would explain the lack of fading..

saw these on the 45 RPM site.

    http://www.45rpm.jp/shop/goods/goods.aspx?goods=5076920

i think the tonal stitching makes it subtle and at the same time the R is a a 'piece of inserted rope' that would result in Atari fading instead of a leather patch pretty cool stuff.

Does any here have the AD3000?
