The Official Wallet Thread
This is something that came up in a recent conversation I had with some friends about jeans. It's silly, but somehow it has me worried. They mentioned that keeping your wallet in one pocket for extended periods of time (over years) can actually affect the alignment of the spinal column and ruin your posture later in life.

It's this true/possible?! Has anyone ever even heard of such a thing?

Despite what you guys may think from my posts/typing or whatever, I am a horribly naive guy and I just tend to eat this sort of stuff up. Is it true?

I'd say no.
How many people have got wallets?
Like 25% of the population I guess.
How many people carry them 24/7?
About 10% of the total population, so that's 10% with ruined postures.
That's a littlebit too much imo.

Yeah but so many die heard denim heads have huge thick ass wallets. Which would throw most of your stats out of the door!

I beliveve this statement to be very true. That's one of the reasons I don't wear a wallet in my backpocket. Your back has to compensate for to extra pressure that your wallet applies to your spine. I'm not saying that I'm 100% sure about this but for me atleast my back started to feel weird after using a wallet in my backpocket for awhile.

omg now i got scared. i've been putting my wallet on my back pocket for years now.

then where u should put ur wallet in? i dun wanna have a wallet mark on my front pocket. -_-
