^^I dont understand what you mean. You mean that they are preshrunk? Or that they will shrink to tagged size?

Unfortunately it seems that they are sized as tagged before shrinking (LOT 10) and they should have been the ones that shrink to the tagged size after washing (LOT 12) if I understand correctly.

Edit; ok Atzec explained it very well.

^Yeah, but the sizing chart at BiG says 34" measured pre-wash for the 32" tagged size. So if they'll shrink 2" in the waist everythings fine...or am I wrong?

You know what LOT they have been measuring? Probably its LOT 12. Mine measures 82cm = 32". So mine will shrink to 30".

Now, I wonder how hard it will be to stretch them out to 32" again...

Okay, maybe it's confusing cuz' the pics showing LOT 10.

If you wanna give it a try, soak 'em handwarm. You can also put a hanger between both waist ends to prevent the waist from shrinking. I would give it a try! As I told you yesterday, my Sugar Canes are waiting for me and their waist shrank to a 30", but I know they'll stretch back to 32". But keep in mind that you loose at least 20-30% or more if you soak and try to sell them after it!

Yep, thats why Im still thinking
Anyways as appfaff suggested you can soak with the waistband outside of the water.
and you can put them on when still damp. There seem to be many house cures for this. the thing with the hanger
sounds good also.

Of course you can do the "never wash" also. But eventually they will have to touch water I guess. Otherwise its kinda gross.

...you can also check SuFu for more advices, maybe you can ask some denimheads over there for their stretching experiences with Samurais. In the end I'm sure you'll have to listen to your inner voice. If you're too unsure, return 'em or sell 'em.

And as House said: listen to your inner voice. You received all suggestions that can be made about this topic. Now you have to decide.

denimjunkie, why don´t you post fit pics and let us see how tight they are?
my samurais (s710, lot 10, stretched easily back to their tagged size (34), even after the hot washes (60°C) while my true waist is little over 33". of course it´s different denim, but whatever.

and also here´s my final advice () what i did with my denimes:
-1st soak in hot water, waistband outside of the water. wait till the water cools down to a bearable temperature (around 30°C, put the jeans on and jump in the tub for 15 minutes)
-2nd soak: after seeing the waist would work out i did a second soak in 40°C hot water to get more starch out of the denim. worked out perfectly. just gonna wash these by hand in warm (not hot) water, so i´m sure i won´t have any struggle with the waist.
