ahh i see. so if i chuck em in the washing machine (hot water) after those 2 soaks, would most of the shrinking be taken care of?

can't tell you about the actual shrinking from the original inseam. my pair were hemmed a little bit before soaking.
will measure them after university today

it's the deal with nearly every Japanese denim. They are just unsanforized.
Measured mine and the inseam went from 94cm to 89cm after soak
