i warm soaked my NSs after a good 6 months of wear and they shrunk ~0.5". Well, some people aren't into the cuffed look so hemming might be the only option unless they're into SUFU stacking

*Edit* Whoops, I mis-measured my jeans. The inseam shrunk to 32.5" from 33", NOT 31.5". Sorry for misinforming you guys.

i soaked mine straight away and didn't notice all that much difference (although it did shrink some), but everyone gets a different result. i've seen it written up in some places like the ns is stf, which it plainly isn't. that said, if you gotta hem, a good thorough hot soak, followed by a line dry (preferably inside-out in direct sunlight) until it's about 95% dry and ten minutes (or less) in the dryer to finish it should take care of a big chunk of the shrinkage.

will they then still be able to have stacks and honeycombs and such.....should i re-starch them then.....i think i would only do a hot soak and sunlight...no dryer

also when you say soak that is like in a bathtub just with hot water nothing else, correct?

after i soak should i restarch em......what is a good measurement for the inseam compared to your inseam...want a good amount of stacks not too much though....

i just want to let everyone know once again.....when i got my ns, i could only button the first one. i thought that they were way, way to small. flash forward two weeks and they fit like a dream. i think it you want a nice fit that is like a slim jim then they should "too small" when you get them.......they will stretch. i sized down 3 fyi
