Hi to ya all,
I wanna use the blog section for my own dry diary and it would be a pleasure to share my dry experiences with you.
I start my personal dry adventure in December 2008...haha, not long ago! I bought within two days 2 sale samples- a Slim Jim Dry Greycast and a Slim Jim Dry Black Stretch. The Greycast is in heavy use since the 12th of december and it will be the pair of jeans I am going to talk about (meanwhile I've got some more dry stuff: Thin Finn Dry Grey Coated, Conny Dry Black Coated, Grim Tim Dry Dirt Organic). I've washed the dry blacks one time before wear and I've done this for some reasons:
The Dry Blacks aren't indigo dyed, so no usual dry crocking will happen. I will use this pair as a dark and elegant, always brandnew looking pair of jeans- nothing more and nothing less.
But back to my
Slim Jims Dry Greycast. Here we are after 4 weeks:
Facts:
- I wear them at least 5 days a week for 2-12 hours;
- If I didn't wear them outside I wear them in the house;
- I let them hang out each night in a cold room;
- I don't baby them.
After one week they'll stretched out about one inch in the waist. That doesn't matter cause they stretched out in a nice way- formed after my body, so they fit very nice, slim but comfy. No comparison to prewashed stretchings. I hope there'll be a fabulous result after their first wash. I want them beautifully faded with nice distressings, a greenish-grey-blue denim color but with no rips or holes.
To create nice fake

fadings I wear a plastic card in the left back pocket and a guitar pic in the coin pocket since the first week.
I think the progress went well, so I'm thinking of washing them after 4 months to keep 'em in a good condition. See ya soon in the next update.
