...well, a few things really, but here we go.
First things first, naturally... My jeans once again got me into a bit of an argument today. A friend of mine, a female friend, said 'I don't know why you're so into denim, jeans are jeans'. JEANS ARE JEANS!? So I set out explaining to her about selvage, raw denim, japanese denim etc, yet she continued to protest that it's all a matter of opinion, she also claimed that a pair of jeans from primark(£6 or about $12 a pair) are just as good as my raw selvage jeans. Stupid Bint. Furthermore, uni is calling me now, after 3 months between years at home I neeeeeeeed to get there now. it'll give me at least 3 months wearing my jeans solidly without caring. My mum makes me sit on a towel when I sit on the sofa. Bloody annoying. Very Bloody Annoying. |

Well of course its a matter of opinion, quality is a matter of a opinion. You can't say your jeans a "better" just because they are selvage or raw or anything. Quality means different things to differnet people.
Some call a good fit quality so they may value DIOR more or some might prefer authenticity and quality so they like LVC or sugarcane.

I agree with luke, actually
I have been made fun of by many, many people saying stuff like: "Why do you spend so much on jeans??, I have seen the exact same pair at like American Eagle for 40 bucks!" the truth is they think all jeans are the same and it is dumb; stupid "bints" haha |
