Spirit S/T-------denim makes me yearn for 70's rock music.

Hmm... Spirit's first album came out in 68, what was I thinking? They're ahead of their time, though.

interesting that so many in here have similar tastes in music...

right in heavy rotation in my players:

-ARCADE FIRE! - simply the best band on earth, go see them live!
-Broken Social Scene - next best band
(Both are from Canada - Canada rocks!)
-The Strokes - love the new album...

Classic faves:
-The Smiths/Morrissey
-Smashing Pumpkins

top current five bands anyone?

Let's keep this topic to what's playing in your player.

We can start a seperate Top 5 topic. That way it's more organized.

Thanks!

Blonde redhead - anticipation

BR is awesome. I also like Arcade Fire, Electrelane, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Neon Blonde, The Knife, Wolf Parade and Broken Social Scene and so on, but this new mainstream "indie" crap like the editors and stuff is soo boring. Anyone got good suggestions of more interesting music, that isnt dull and sounds like everything else?

are you SWEDISH folks bored of DUNGEN? they have been a breath of fresh (somewhat smoky) air over here in the states...

I play lots of records. yeah, me, too. I would think the dry denim folk are the same people that worship analog. However, cd players have to be broken in, whereas record needles and belt-driven record players worsen over time. It's maddening.
