To wear denim in Bangkok you must be a VERY dedicated enthusiast!

Probably there are more opportunities to enjoy a nice pair of jeans in Chiang Mai, Loei or in Nakhon Ratchasima. Still, just a few weeks a year!

Well you can always mall hop; Paragon to central world etc:p But yes, it was extremely uncomfortable whilst wearing my bengts in Thailand.
