I am looking for a new necklace to buy, but I have no idea what's hot at the moment.

For example, I like this:

http://www.asos.com/Diesel/Diesel-Stainless-Steel-Double-Dog-Tag-Necklace/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=316525&cid=5035&clr=Silver&sh=0

But everyone used to wear dog tags a few years ago, it just feels old now-a-days.

What do you wear?

Pictures would be great!

those are nice, a bit pricey for ''dog tags'' though.

i have the Aldo dog tags, ya know the ones for the AIDS campaign they did (Hear, Speak, See No Evil or something like that). I still rock them from time to time. I don't mind wearing them now because I bought them years ago, for a good cause, and they look a bit more vintage now.

as for necklaces, i don't think trends really apply. whatever you like and looks good on you is what's up.

I picked up some 100 year old coins whilst in the republic of georgia a month or so ago, and went to a jeweler to see how I could get them turned into pendants for a necklace. If I ever get them finished, I'll post some pictures. My inspiration was from Miracle Icons, which are sold in Barneys.

Pretty sweet idea, GSA.

Personally I usually don't like buying jewelry. I like making my own or having others make stuff for me. Jewelry is very personal and reflective of yourself, imo. All of my bracelets were handmade by friends or myself (except for my Livestrong, obvi).

it's a catholic symbol, i got it from an event. I've worn it everyday, never taken it off, for about a year and a couple swigs more.

I'm wearing a white golden necklace i got from my grandpa just before he died.. since then i never took the necklace of. Must admit it's not my style but it's a part of me because it remembers me of my grandpa.

For about the past year I've been wearing a ceramic celtic symbol that I picked up while on vacation (oddly, in Barcelona) attached to a black cord. I have been liking the recent trend of feathers, so I've been thinking of getting a silver-toned feather necklace, though the ones at SelfEdge seem a bit pricey...
