Era Or Authentic???

I say Authentics.
They have no padding, where as eras do, however this makes for a bulkier fitting shoe. The eras are suuuper low key, and comfortable once you wear them in a bit.

yeah, and I'm not saying eras aren't. I just found that being all canvas ,the authentics needed to soften up a little bit, eras are pretty cushioned so they are nice right from the get go. I like how authentics fit over all though.

yah i have numerous pairs of both and they both are super comfy i agree that the eras take longer to break in but i find they wear better in the long run as appose to the authentics

i'm starting off my van's authentic/era collection... and i'm getting a black pair... should i go with the authentic's or the era's??? i'm hearing good reasons for both of them...

eras fit more like slip ons and authentics are more like low all stars, sorry for the double post.

its alright... and i think ima go with the era's because of the fact that i can have more fun with them considering the fact that they have more designs unlike the authentics...

i have a pair of authentics no eras but i went to a store and it seems eras sole is slightly thinner than the authentics which i would like better. anyone confirm this?

can't hurt to have some of both.

i made up my mind because someone said that they were like the slip on's but with laces... i think that's what was said... or no... it was that they fit like the slip ons...
