i'm kinda new to Nudies.

i just wanna know if i fit well in size 29 when i wear the Thin Finn Oscar Worn Dark,
do i get size 29 for Thin Finn Dry Comfort too?

will the fitting be the same?

thx in advance.

Generally, pre-washes are a size smaller than dry, so 29 pre-wash is smaller than 29 dry. I'd get a 28.

what is pre-wash? before/after wash?

Pre-wash = non-dry jeans = your TF Oscars.

If you're buying a pair of jeans, and there's any kind of fading/wear on them, it's a pre-wash. Raw/dry denim has a uniform color over the entire garment.

It will fit very similar to the 29 oscar.

Ok, since you don't seem to get it, I will try and explain. (don't take it the wrong way)

Dry nudies are usually one size bigger than tagged size ( 28 measures at 29)

Pre-wash nudies (your oscar) is the same as tagged (29 measures at 29)

So, in theory, the fit should be similar. But once you wash, you will have to live with it a little tighter until it stretches out again.

pre-wash/pre-distressed jeans have already been washed, therefore the cotton has already shrunk pretty much 100%. Drys have only been sanforised and are not washed, thats why they are called raw, they won't reach 100% shrinkage until after 1 or 2 hot washes.

i see. thanks . that helped alot.

the fitting should be quite similar to oscar dark right?

so i should get sz29 for dry?

another enquiry: what if i do not want my dry jeans to expand much? can i do something about it?

If you want the same fit as the oscars off the start, buy the 28.

If you don't want as much stretching, buy a 29. But keep in mind they will fit looser than your oscars.
