I was just watching CourtTV and saw a very interesting investigation of some right extremist here in the USA who were robbing banks and bombing places.

Can you believe that the most convincing evidence the FBI had was a pair of well worn blue jeans!?

The photography specialist at FBI got pictures from surveillance cameras and took pictures of jeans found in the suspect's closet and compared the way they had been faded.

He said that all denim jeans fades differently depending on the person who wears them (we already know that, hehe) and that it can be identified just like finger print. They were able to identify over 12 points of the jeans that were exactly the same in both pictures.

So remember, don't wear denim if you are going to commit a crime.

Very interresting and funny. I love strange facts like that :).

I'm also impressed of what todays forensics think off. We can determine DNA Matches, and still they have to rely on evidence such as jeans fading...

You can also where some other persons faded jeans, and they will think that he is the thief! 8)

I know it,but it is an old story. Read it in the newspaper that the FBI in the USA find a thief through the caracter of the jeans he was wearing, I remember it was in 1998.
Anyway it is great fun that we all create our own jeans by just wearing it.
