View Full Version : Darker after wash

I just finished my 6 month mark of wearing BO's for about 4 days a week. I washed them in Warm/cold and used very little detergent. Then I just hung them to dry.

It seems to me that the jeans got darker instead of lighter with the fading. Is that suppose to happen? I know BO's are going to take a lot of time but why did it turn out darker?

Don't be dissapointed. It looks darker indeed, but if you continue on with wearing them now, the fading process will go faster. So it's not much maybe now, but it's just getting started!

Good job allready, it can only get better :D

I think the reason is that washing them after wear releases indigo embedded in the fiber, etc etc, which makes the jean initially, darker. I think they explain it much better On the nudie website.

How do you like your nudies besides its lack of fading? Did you form any honeycombs or whiskers?
