Do you want to show an image/picture in your post or thread? There are three ways you can do this:

1) Use the attachment feature when creating your post
2) Host your image on other sites such as Image Shack and then link

However, the third method might be even better/easier:

3) Use your Dropbox account - it's free and you have the pictures in your control

Click on this link to sign up for Dropbox and I'll tell you below how to use it: http://db.tt/OgOj8F7

a) Go to the link above and create your free Dropbox account
b) Install Dropbox on your computer
c) Put the picture you want to use in your "Public" Dropbox folder
d) Right click on the picture to bring up the menu and go to the Dropbox option and choose "Copy Public Link".
e) Go to the post/thread where you want to insert the picture, click on the "Insert Image" icon and then paste the Dropbox public link.

Your picture should now be visible and you have it saved in your Dropbox account. :-)

Let me know if you need additional help.

Hello, I am trying to post some pictures. So far I put a link there.
Wanna ask how can I post pictures on like everyone does?
And the attachment feature seems like doesn't work for me, and I try to just copy and paste my pictures on this box, but none of them works. Will be very glad if someone can help me out.

If that method doesn't work for you, just upload them onto a different site and link here. So basically, just upload to flickr or photobucket, and then copy the [IMG] link that it gives you into the text box.

for example: I link http://www.flickr.com/photos/71502353@N07/6475591297/in/photostream/
But then I couldn't show the image in the text box like everyone does in here?

you need the direct link of the picture. use the link and insert it inside the brackets

The default is ticking but I would prefer not ticking. Is it possible to change the default to not ticking?

We actually prefer the file to be hosted on our server as it uses less bandwidth and prevents broken image links.
