Last winter, I wore jeans everyday. But for the Rochester winter, in which I have to do a fair bit of walking at night, my Eternals did not quite cut it in terms of warmth. So, I was looking to buy a pair of thick wool pants (flannel or otherwise). These brands seem interesting: Filson, Howard Yount, Corbin, and Johnson Woolen Mills (which don't have all of their winter collections posted, but I think they'll have wool offerings in a couple of months). The cut of the Filson's (17 oz) looks best, but Johnson has a couple of pants around the same price that weigh in at 20 and 22 oz.
Can anyone suggest other brands to look at?
