I recently bought my first pair of Nudie Jeans; Thin Finn Dry Stretch, about a 5 weeks ago or so. I cant begin to tell you how much I love these jeans! I honestly wear them 6 out of 7 times a week. Sleep in them and all

So anyway, heres my progress as of today:

size: 30/32
washes: 0
soaks: 0
starch: 3x (directly on common wear points)

You could've posted in the jeans progress thread mate ;-)

It's alright though - those are looking pretty good thus far.

Sorry bro, figured that was only for the contest back in 2010, seeing noone really posts there anymore.

anyways, about the starching, I feel by starching it, it creates a stiff denim feel, causing more wear and tear on normal spots like "whiskers, and honeycombs". Not the whole pant.

I wouldn't worry about the whole starching thing. But if thats what you're into then I will say no more. Good luck with them!

What's the starch for? How do u put them on? Just rub it in?

actually just spray it on. its becomes stiff after time. its something thats been used in denim break ins for a while

Cheating... If you ask me. Living in your jeans without spending any doubts about fadings, and they will look great after a couple of months.

Nice progress, but I never understood the whole 'circular piece of metal in the pocket' thing; just looks odd to me. But each to their own, certainly. :)

i undertand that but the starch doesnt create any "fake" OR UNREALISTIC characteristics of fading. Just speeds it up.

its just a cap to a apple juice :) I always liked the look of the Nudie repair kit circle just not in the back pocket, so this is what i came up with :)
