What About Boot Starcy?

Anyone know anything about this new upcoming model, boot starcy? I'm just sorta waiting for something showin' up that's similar to cootcut ola or glenn?

There is a thread.. I think it is like spring summer 2010 nudie jeans or something where there is a bunch of information on it... From what i read it is supposed to fit like a long john but the bottom opens up a lot

You can see the fit on the Nudie site now. In my opinion, after felt 100 years, it's the best cut from Nudie with Slacker Jack.

Isn't the Bootcut Starcy just the Narrow Boot renamed? I recall the measurements being very similar, if not the same.
"Rinsed" - does that make it a raw looking prewash or something then @_@?

^ I believe Boot Starcy is slightly less tight than Narrow Boot (i.e. fits much better on men without having to size up). All I know about rinsed is that it results in some really nice fading, check out some HK rinsed pics to get an idea.

I'm also looking for something like a Bootcut Ola... though preferably w/out the bootcut.

They describe it on Nudies.com as being "normal yoke", but in the pics on cultizm & nudies.com, the yoke looks similar to the Ola, but maybe a little lower... which could be too low for me.

Isn't Grim Tim just a little bit higher? They acually look really nice. But I suppose you won't get the bootcut then.. They're a straight leg, I think.

How about the sizing? Do you need to size up? Is the fit as tight as the Slacker Jacks? Thanks guys :)

I think noone here owns both pairs or has tried them both on. If you look in the nudiejeans.com webshop you can compare the sizes between these two. The SJ is a men's cut whereas the Starcy is more of a unisex cut. So, I assume the Starcy has a lower waist and is narrower at the legs. The SJ should be sized up, as you can read in the SJ thread.

Received a pair of these today, 31/32. Didn't get a chance to take any pics yet, but the fit is absolutely perfect. Just what I was hoping for. Extremely comfy too...

If the High Kai rinsed pictures I've seen are any indication, they hopefully should fade beautifully :-)

They're a bit tighter IRL, as I normally wear them slightly higher (with a belt). They fall off me otherwise :-P

I don't know how the Starcy compares to those jeans exactly, but I think it runs a tiny bit large in the waist, because of the low rise. So I'd probably stick with the 30 if you want a tight fit. Size up one if you don't want em too tight (like mine).
